Privacy policy

How we handle personal data on biclever.com, in our forms and email, and when you buy a license.

Who we are

Biclever Software AS (organization number 937 609 612), Norway, is the controller for the personal data described here. Questions about privacy: dmytro@biclever.com.

What we collect and why

  • Pilot and contact forms. Your name, work email, company and what you write to us. We use it to answer you and to set up a pilot. Legal basis: steps you ask for before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
  • Email. Messages you send us and our replies. Same purpose and basis.
  • License purchases. Name, email, company and billing details, needed to deliver the license and invoice it. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. Legal basis: the contract, and our accounting obligations.
  • Website analytics, only with your consent. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics records which pages are visited and how visitors arrive, so we can improve the site. If you decline, Analytics isn’t loaded. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

We don’t sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Biclever Agent customer data

The data Biclever Agent processes for a customer (requests, reports, the agent’s notes about your system) is processed on the customer’s behalf and covered by our data processing agreement, not by this policy. See the security and IT review.

Who handles the data for us

  • GitHub: hosts this website (GitHub Pages).
  • Web3Forms: receives what you send in the pilot and contact forms and passes it on to us by email.
  • Google: Google Workspace for email; Google Analytics, only if you consent.
  • Stripe: payments and invoices.

Some of these providers process data outside the EEA. Where they do, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Form submissions and email: as long as needed to answer and follow up, and deleted within 12 months if no agreement follows.
  • Purchase and invoice records: as long as Norwegian accounting law requires (currently five years).
  • Analytics data: 14 months, the Google Analytics retention setting.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to dmytro@biclever.com. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

Cookies

The site sets no cookies unless you accept analytics. Your choice is stored in your browser so we don’t ask again. If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga and _ga_…).
